AIRDALE EXPRESS

COMPANY OVERVIEW and LEGAL DESCRIPTION

What follows below is the time frame of when Airdale Express came to legal fruition and current status.  Bill and Peggy have known each other for years and have shared many hours compiling ideas in regards to the development and success of this company. We strive to ensure the supplemental prosperity of any company associated with Airdale Express.

1) D.B.A. Airdale Express was filed in Montgomery County, Texas on 9/20/01. It is listed as a partnership between Peggy and Bill, recorded as document # 200103843 with the County Clerks Office.

2) Dun & Bradstreet, Inc.  ….   per Dept. of Defense requirements we registered with this company and received our D.U.N.S. number on 10/2/01. The Data Universal Numbering System number is 043675995. This number identifies Airdale Express as a business in our chosen field and is accessible to the world via D & B’s website or direct contact with them.

3) The Defense Logistics Agency, a division of the Department of Defense, requires that a business go to a site called C.C.R., Central Contractor Registration, before doing  ANY  business with or for the United States Government.  We filed the required information with them and one of the items was to choose an area of business that you are most familiar with.  We selected N.A.I.C.S. Code #488190 which identifies Aviation Maintenance and Servicing. This selection, however, does not limit Airdale Express to deal only in aviation.  Registration was completed on  10/1/01  and confirmation was received on 10/5/01. We were then identified by our own CAGE Code # 1VN02,  which enables  Airdale Express to login to Government websites and work this business.

4) The Small Business Administration had been contacted.   On 10/17/01,   Airdale Express personnel attended a seminar in  Houston. Airdale Express was offered a Small Disadvantaged Business Certification (SDB), which was accepted and granted on Nov. 15, 2002. While we maintained our Small Disadvantaged Business status for the initial required length of time, we allowed it to lapse from certification as the ROI was not appreciable. We have found that the benefit of being a  Service-Connected Disabled Veteran Small Business is that you are one of the confirmed minorities in this country and have the opportunity to view and quote on these set-aside solicitations.

5) The I.R.S. had also been contacted per the  S.B.A. requirements,  and has been  officially informed of the  development of Airdale Express. Updated Financials and Tax files are available upon request if deemed appropriate. The Airdale Express Federal Identification Number (FIN) is 76-0699429 and the Texas Tax Number is 17606994295.

6) On 11/21/01, Airdale Express was  incorporated in the State of Texas Comptroller’s Office in Austin, as a limited liability company and is now known as  Airdale Express, LLC. Minutes taken,  Members  certified as Bill and Peggy as sole owners and stocks have been issued.

7) The owners of Airdale Express attended ISO 9001:2000 training seminars at Houston Community College Clear Lake in the Fall of 2002. An External Audit and subsequent plan for development was accomplished by Dr. Ann Phillips ESQ. in Dec. 2002. Her company is Omnitech International, Inc., an internationally renowned auditing/consulting firm, ISO RAB Certified. Our Quality Management System was put in place and initial tests and revisions began. On November 11, 2003. the Airdale Express Quality Management System and Quality/Procedures Manual passed a rigorous review and Certification/Audit Visit conducted by officers from the Danish international firm AIB Vincotte. Airdale Express became ISO 9001:2000 Standards Registered and Certified on December 4, 2003. As of this update on 10/7/2010, Airdale has maintained and upgraded its status to ISO 9001:2008, certified now by American Global Standards AIAO-BAR.

8) “It is the policy of Airdale Express, LLC, to procure parts and materials that fully meet all specified government requirements.  We continually strive for 100% performance in delivery, quantity, and packaging requirements as measured by the United States Government’s Automated Best Value System (ABVS).  We are committed to meeting these requirements through the implementation and continual improvement of the effectiveness of our quality management system.”
